Images

  • Provide high quality and clear picture of your products, preferably on a model or manequin with detailed description. Preferably, more than one snap for the same product, shot at different angles. (A Sample can be shared with you to begin with). Avoid putting a collage.
  • In case you cannot take pictures of your product, you can send them to us for a photoshoot and we would send it back post the shoot.
  • Highlight the key features you want customers to consider, such as dimensions, size, colour, wash and care instructions, material, exact colour and so on.
  • The entire product should be depicted in the image
  • The actual product is photographed and not modified in photoshop.
  • The product is focussed and well lit
  • No watermarks should be present
  • Backgrounds are simple, preferably white and clean so as not to distract from the product
  • The preferred size is 350px * 450px.
  • Only single product should be displayed in one picture. If multiple colour options are present, individual pictures should be clicked

Product Titles

  • The naming convention for your products should be: <Product title>_<code>_<Price>

(where providing code is optional)

Listing Items And Inventory Management

  • For jewellery, the dimensions also need to be provided.
  • Provide update about stocks on a weekly basis. Share pictures of any new collection at the earliest. When any ‘out of stock’ product is available again, please inform the POC.
  • Notify about any ‘out of stock’ product immediately.
  • If any of your product is listed on our site for more than 30 days and not selling, we can remove the product at our discretion.
  • All the products shared by you are not listed on our site, but follow a curation (selection) process. Only the shortlisted ones will be uploaded in our site.

Pricing

  • Your prices should be competitive. Compare with other websites while quoting the price and give a reasonable cost. Once you get good business from us, you need to give us special rates (with discounts)
  • Myroots.desi, Versatiltech Ventures Pvt Ltd Enterprise has the right to mark up the prices of the products and host on our site.

Order Management

  • When you get an order from us, you need to service the same in 72 hours (3 days) if the product is readily available
  • If the product is not available and needs to be made for the order, you need to give us a timeframe for the same when you would be able to provide it
  • In case you are not able to provide a particular product once order is placed with you, you will have to inform in 12 hours about the same.

Offers And Discount

  • During festival season and other occasions when sale goes high, we expect vendors to provide offers and discount to us which we can in turn pass to our customers
  • Consider free shipping for domestic orders

Product Packing And Delivery

  • The products need to be neatly packed in plastic covers and then in an outer cover. Fragile items need to be bubble wrapped.
  • The products which are directly shipped by you should have the myroots.desi brand (sticker with our logo would be provided) and address (in the sender’s address).
  • We will inform you regarding the shipment of the product and the address. Our courier partner might pick the products from your place (if service is available). Else, we will give you the address where the product needs to be delivered and you can claim the shipping charges from us. We expect you to pick up courier options with reasonable rates and are reliable
  • You need to pack the products properly. For jewellery, bubble wrapping would be required. For garments, a plastic cover has to be used first and each items should be individually wrapped first before putting in a bigger cover

Return And Refund

  • In case we get a return for any product because of poor quality or damage or incorrect product sent (when sent directly from the vendor), you will have to take back the product and provide the refund that we pass to our customer.

Violations And Restricted Items

  • In case of compliance issues with respect to copyright, products, deliveries, or payments, we have the right to de-list the vendor from the platform.
